ATA Announces Collaboration with ACCC, ASD, and AFP for Integrated Digital Safety

November 15

CANBERRA – The Australian Trust Authority (ATA) today confirmed formal agreements for collaboration with the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (ACCC), the Australian Signals Directorate (ASD), and the Australian Federal Police (AFP). This cross-agency cooperation aims to create a unified front against digital threats.

The partnerships will ensure that the ATA's content assessment data and insights are integrated into the ACCC's consumer protection efforts, ASD's national security and cyber intelligence operations, and the AFP's investigations into cybercrime and fraud. This strategic alignment will amplify the government's ability to respond to the challenges posed by AI-generated content.
